BOM BOM only serves the safest grade of RMB (see article on ‘Bones & Safety’) so that your pet would never suffer gut impaction from bones. Even if your pet has swallowed most of the bone without chewing, once landing in the stomach, bones would be fully digested in gastric juices within a 10-14hr period. If your pet does hunger puke BEFORE a meal and some residual bone fragments are puked out, it is because these are the last items to be digested in the gut and any gag reflex would bring up any remaining stomach contents. As per our Raw Feeding Guide leaflet (included with your first BOM BOM delivery), we always advocate supervising your pet during meal times to ensure they are chewing properly.
