The packaging used for our meals is generally made from food-safe plastic materials such as PA (Polyamide) and PE (Polyethylene). These materials are safe for contact with food and do not contain substances like BPA, which are considered endocrine disruptors. BPA can be found in some polycarbonate plastics (e.g., plastic bottles, containers, canned foods), but it is not used in our vacuum meal pack packaging. The PA/PE materials we use are safe for food contact, and you can use them without concerns about microplastics or endocrine disruptors. Also, our plastics have also been tested for temperature degradation and it can easily tolerate freezing temperatures as well as heat below 122 degreesC.
